MALARIA HAS DEVASTATED US! SSENA BROUGHT THE CHILDREN TO THE INFIRMARY ON A RENTED MOTOR BIKE IN SMALL GROUPS 6/14 /2016. PLEASE REMEMBER THEY NEED BETTER NUTRITION TO RECOVER AND DRINKS AND OTHER SUPPLIES. THE INFIRMARY CHARGES FOR THE ROOMS WHICH ARE OCCUPIED BY SEVERAL CHILDREN AT ONCE. KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS. PLEASE HELP!
With deepest sadness we announce that malaria has taken one of us! Rest in peace dear Deric Nsikombi, at only 9 years old, in 2nd grade class. We will always love you! June 2016
Rest in peace our baby, Scovia!! (3 Years old) She will be loved always! She battled Malaria for almost 3 weeks. Sadly, God called home his little angel on 7/19/2016
Your donations will help to feed the children and provide what is needed to fortify them so they can fight malaria and other deadly diseases.

The children were overcome with Malaria one by one and taken in groups to the infirmary. Since LLOVCCS does not have their own means of transportation, Ssena transports them in small groups on the back of a rented motorbike. The Infirmary (building with red roof ) is an additional financial burden to us as we must rent transportation and there is medical fees and the costs of the nightly stays for the children. We also desperately need better nutrition and drinks for them to help nourish the children and recuperate from the illnesses.

This photo shows Ssena bringing the younger children who did not feel well to the infirmary. After losing Deric just before this, Ssena was so worried and made many trips to the infirmary to get anyone checked who showed any symptoms. Most of them started with body aches and head aches.
